The Studio
Rooted in home. Inspired by nature.
Dakotah Joy Studio grew from a love of beautiful spaces, the natural world, and the belief that the places we inhabit should feel deeply personal and alive.
Dakotah has always been drawn to making things with her hands. Her creative path began in the wedding floral industry in 2019, where she fell in love with the fleeting beauty of flowers — their movement, imperfection, and ability to completely shift the feeling of a space. In the years that followed, while raising three little ones, she returned to school at Heritage School of Interior Design to pursue a longtime love of interiors.
Over time, the two worlds began to feel less separate. Florals and interiors share so much of the same language — color, texture, shape, season, and the quiet art of knowing when something feels just right.
Dakotah Joy Studio was created as a place for both.
Our work is rooted in thoughtful interiors and expressive, garden-inspired florals, with an appreciation for the beauty that comes from things that feel natural rather than overly perfected. We are endlessly inspired by old homes, worn woods, natural stone, gathered branches, changing light, and the rhythm of the seasons.
Whether designing a home or arranging flowers for a space, the intention is much the same: to create something that feels considered but never precious, beautiful but still meant to be lived with.

Spaces with soul. Florals with movement.
Design that feels connected to the way we live.
